“I think one of the biggest takeaways was the fact that we’re all seemingly focused on data security and integrity of data and particularly around client confidentiality but at the end of the day if you can’t even access your network because of a power outage or whatever may happen then your data security becomes really secondary to everything else. Another takeaway was the issue around, we’re thinking about people hacking client records and trying to take their personal information but it’s scary to think that these people are also trying to hack into some of the pharmaceutical companies and manufacturing systems. And the thought that someone could alter the key ingredient of a medication that’s shipped worldwide that can have catastrophic events. So, I think these types of forums are good to really start to shift our focus and shift our gaze to other issues more than just data integrity and data security.”
